The last thing you want to worry about while on vacation is the safety of your dog while boarding. At Windy Acres Kennels, we take this responsibility seriously, providing ample room for them to run and relax. Our professionally trained staff is skilled at making your dog feel happy, secure, and exercised.

Vaccination Requirements

Current (within one year) Distemper, Parvo, Bordetella
Current (within three years) Rabies
Proof of vaccines from a veterinarian will be required before admittance of your dog to the kennel. Either the vaccine records (paper copy) or a phone call from the clinic, or an email with current vaccines recorded from the veterinarian.
Holiday's require 5 day minimum charge. 72 hour cancellation prior to stay to avoid cancellation fee $100.00

Boarding Rates

The boarding rate for dogs is $24.00 a day for one dog, $42 for two dogs and $18 more for the 3rd dog sharing the same run. In addition to your dog’s indoor-outdoor run, it will also cover a choice of Iams or Purina foods & a complimentary bath before your dog goes home. We have a 2-day minimum fee. Kennel decks are in all runs and a rug or blanket is provided at no extra charge. You are welcome to bring some comforts from home for your dog such as their own blanket, toys, treats or own food if you do not wish to change your dog’s diet. 5-day holiday minimum. As always, we offer 5% cash discount. 72 cancellation notice required to avoid fee on holiday reservations.

Walk N Biscuit

The Walk ‘N Biscuit service is our most popular service, here at Windy Acres Kennels, as more than 75 percent of our customers sign their dogs up for this. It consists of a walk around our three-acre pond, approximately 1/3 of a mile. The dogs just love this time, they feel at ease, they get outside to have some fun during the walk and try to tire out our employees as they drag them around the pond. This service is available up to a max of three walks per dog, per day.

Pampered Play Time

Any pet boarding at Windy Acres Kennels has the play time service available. That is where one of our staff will take your pet out for some individual attention and play for a fifteen-minute duration. We will do this for each pet for a maximum of three play times per day.

Rates: As of June 1, 2021, $4.00 per pet, per play time

Swim Service

For dogs boarding in the warmer months when this service is available. We take the dogs out to our training pond area, where one of our staff will throw retrieves or play in the water with your dog for a fifteen-minute period, this service is available only two times per day, per dog. All dogs are kept on a long line for this service to ensure safety.

Rates: As of June 1, 2021, is $5.00 per dog, per swim.
